No Idea What's Going On Here

In an attempt to cheer myself up from recent blunders and idiocies, I decided to do what any sensible person does when they're upset: I went to youtube. In my obsession with Megaman and Megaman related things I found (again) an episode of the 90s cartoon adaptation of the game where absolutely nothing makes sense. I remember watching several of the episodes a couple years back and wondered to myself how I was able to stand this as a kid. It's really bad, but this episode in particular I think highlights the absolute nonsensical happenings of Megaman and crew. For a little bit of back story and so that those of you unfamiliar with the games/show can keep up a bit, I'll describe a little bit of what's going on. First: The robots you see at the beginning are Dr. Wily's (the one with the German accent) minions. They were created by both Dr. Wily and Dr. Light (the bearded one) to make life easier for humans, but like any mad scientist, Wily chose to make them evil and tries to take over the world. Megaman (the blue guy) is the incorruptible robot who thinks freely and was created by Dr. Light. Roll, his sister is the woman that they added to be somewhat politically correct. The funny part about that? She's a cleaning robot. Her primary weapon? A vacuum. There was a robot before Megaman who has free will and is considered his brother and that's Protoman. Problems with Protoman? He's supposed to be really cool and in the game he both helps and challenges Megaman and he's just a rogue robot with the whole lone wolf mentality thing going for him, but the cartoon made him into a complete douchescrote. Signifiers? The 1960s High School Jock speak, the wearing of sunglasses indoors and out, the scarf, the fact that he refers to Megaman as "bro," and his taking orders from Dr. Wily. I wouldn't be surprised if he threw up a few "gang" signs and tried to pick up on drunk lady-bots. So there's a little bit of background for you and now we're onto the video. We'll review after having viewed its contents the things that are just wrong with it, and mind you this is the first half of the episode. You can find parts 2 and 3 through the links, etc., but I don't think that any of you will be able to sit through the entire 23 minutes. It's hard for me to do it. Here's the first ten minutes of the episode entitled "Curse of the Lion Men".

So, what's wrong with this episode? In the first ten minutes we have the following:
1) Dr. Wily is searching for a new island in order to house a secret lab. Why is he trying to take over the world if he clearly has enough funding for a secret lab and a robot army?
2) Brightman's voice? Hilarious.
3) If you notice the news caster and the location of the island we're talking about mummies...in Hawaii...that turn into...Lions?
4) The Lion-man things are taking over the world...by turning people...into...lions...
5) Dr. Light can build a robot with free will, but can't get good reception for his T.V.
6) "Sizzlin' Circuits!"
7) The Scooby Doo-esque robot dog, Rush (he was in the game, but didn't talk and wasn't annoying)
8) "Blast-Proof Net" Why not just make your robots "Blast-Proof" and you won't have to worry about Megaman's plasma cannon that's set to stun
9) Dr. Wily's robots run away from the lion people. Robots bent on the destruction of Megaman who aid Dr. Wily in trying to rule the world. Running from Lion people.
10) Lasers coming out of the lions' eyes.
I don't get it either. If anyone wants to find the crap in the rest of the episode let me know. I commend you if you actually got through the damned thing.
