The Wait for Officialness Ends

So I've been a Deadpool fan for ages and have wished for a movie to be made since I got in to the character. I never thought it would actually happen, thinking that whoever took hold of it would probably make some sort of terrible bastardization of him (see the Wolverine origin movie), making him watered down, tame, and poorly written. Today I can confidently say that I'm really excited for the February 12th release of the Deadpool movie. It's getting the R rating that it deserves, it's dropping the whole shitty Wolverine origin movie, and it's going to have all of the qualities that make Deadpool the best anti-hero out there. And, honestly, big props to Ryan Reynolds who didn't give up on the project. He's got my seal of approval to be the merc with the mouth.

Big surprise, I'm back from the seedy underbelly of the US also known as Georgia. But you all know this since I posted last week that I was back. Stories! Self-Growth! Adventures! Yeah, not really. More like bitching, gripes, and complaints. The short of it is that I recently went through Ranger school. Marketed as the premier leadership course of the army, it's really just one big crock of shit. I failed the first phase and recycled. Unfortunately, the class I went through was during the course cycle break and essentially doubled my time spent in Georgia. So five months instead of two. I froze, I was miserable, I cursed the lack of professionalism of the entire system in charge of me, I made a few friends, and I got the tab that, for some reason, makes people think that I'm better than them. Really, I'm the same old person. Now I'm just irritated. Greatly relieved that I never have to go back to that hell hole. Glad that it gets my foot wedged in the door of future promotion. But irritated at the stupidity of it all. That's all for now. Gotta go!

Back to Society

A great good day to all of you out there in the inter-verse!  So this hiatus wherein I've been absent for 5 months was by no means of my own doing this time.  I've been locked out of the world and completely devoid of technological advancements of the electronic world in the state of Georgia for some mandatory training.  On a positive note, I'm now open to promotion with this training done.  On a negative note, my body is deteriorated and frail.  So I guess to any arch-nemesis I may have, that's a positive.  Seriously.  I struggle with gallons of milk.  Either way, since I've been away I feel like I've missed lots.  So there's lots of catching up for me to do.  So having been given the week off of work I set out to do just that...by sitting in my room in my underwear watching tv and perusing the interwebs.  So today I stumbled upon some cool musical stuff.  How I got on to bands covering their contemporaries, I don't know (really, who knows how they get to their final destinations on the internet when they start a youtube binge?), but I got to Chvrches covering Arctic Monkeys and kinda started drooling and listening on repeat.  Anywho, I'm going to leave you all with that song since I've got a massage to get to so I can start the repairing of this old man back of mine.  More on my adventures later.  Honestly, it's so fucking good to be back in Washington.
